Mending & Tending:

Strengthen the Relationships That Matter

What Is Mending & Tending?

Every relationship has moments of misalignment—times when conversations feel off, someone interrupts or withdraws, or connection fades. These small moments, left unaddressed, can create distance.

Mending & Tending is a weekly 2-hour class designed to help you explore and repair these relational challenges. Through guided discussions, emotional insights, and roleplaying, you will:

Identify where a relationship feels strained
Understand emotions, thoughts, and behaviors affecting connection
Experiment with new ways to communicate and rebuild trust
Practice real-life scenarios in a supportive, confidential setting

Join us to strengthen your ability to mend old wounds and tend to relationships that matter.

Class is on Tuesdays only, at London Nelson Community Center, 301 Center St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060

Who Is This For?

This class is for anyone looking to improve relationships—whether with a friend, family member, partner, or colleague.

  • You feel a disconnect in a relationship but aren’t sure how to fix it.
  • You struggle with communication and wish you knew the right words.
  • You want to address tension before it turns into lasting damage.

If any of these resonate, Mending & Tending can help.

How It Works

Step 1: Attend a free first class and identify a relationship dynamic that needs attention.
Step 2: Explore emotions, thoughts, and actions tied to key interactions.
Step 3: Engage in roleplaying exercises to test new approaches in a supportive group setting.
Step 4: Apply learned strategies to mend the issue and tend to the relationship long-term.

What You’ll Gain

✅ Confidence in handling difficult conversations
✅ Stronger, more meaningful relationships
✅ A practical toolkit for navigating conflict and fostering connection

Without addressing relationship struggles, miscommunication, distance, and resentment can grow. Take action now.
